About

Taahirah is a faith-centred women’s health platform created to support Muslim women in understanding their bodies, worship, and wellbeing with clarity, dignity, and care. Following the launch of their app, Taahirah needed content that could communicate its practical features while also building trust around sensitive conversations on womanhood, purity, health, and faith. The aim was not simply to market a product, but to position Taahirah as a thoughtful, reliable companion for Muslim women across different stages of life.

Taahirah App

A set of reels was created to promote the Taahirah app across social media, with a focus on making its features feel clear, relatable, and emotionally grounded. I developed the concepts around real user experiences, everyday questions, and moments of uncertainty that Muslim women may face around health, worship, and purity. Rather than making the reels feel like direct adverts, I shaped them into short, engaging stories that showed how the app could offer clarity, reassurance, and support in practical moments of need.

To Live

For Ramadan, I produced "To Live" - a reflective series centred on experience, connection, and the realities of Muslim womanhood. Unlike standard content focused on health advice, this series was not designed to be informational or product-led, but emotional and human. I shaped the episodes around warm, intergenerational conversations that allowed women to reflect on life, worship, identity, growth, and faith. The aim was to create something intimate and meaningful, strengthening Taahirah’s wider brand by connecting with its audience on a deeper emotional and spiritual level.

What They Said

Working with Zubair has been one of the most professional and creative experiences we’ve had at Taahirah. From the outset, the process felt very easy and collaborative. We were able to explain the vision clearly, and he took that away and returned with a thoughtful, well-structured concept. The shoot day itself was seamless, with plenty of room for discussion, additions, and our own creative flare throughout. The editing process was equally smooth and collaborative. Feedback was handled efficiently, and we genuinely felt that each episode landed in a very strong place by the end. What stood out particularly was his ability to understand and bring our Islamic elements to life without needing extensive explanation. He instinctively understood the tone and direction we were trying to achieve, worked with us thoughtfully on selecting the right āyāt and aḥādīth, and translated them visually and emotionally in ways we genuinely could not have imagined ourselves. We’re incredibly proud of the final outcome, not only in terms of quality and visual style, but also the warmth and emotional depth the work brought to our storytelling and wider brand identity. I would highly recommend Zubair to anyone looking for someone creative, thoughtful, and genuinely easy to work with.
